About Zouk Dresden
Zouk Dresden is home to the dance community for Brazilian Zouk in Dresden. Since 2010 we dance, teach and love Zouk here.
We are all united by our love for Brazilian Zouk. We are a community of over 100 dancers and one of the oldest in Germany with courses since 2010.
In addition to the dance classes, we organise regular parties, open-air socials on the Elbe in summer and the Zouk Family Meeting, which is known throughout Germany.
Classes
To give the many zouk enthusiasts the chance to learn this special dance and to allow the more experienced to go deeper, we have ongoing courses in 3 levels.
Beginner
For all those who want to take their first steps in Brazilian Zouk and find the fun in dancing.
Intermediate
After the first steps, here we learn the special features of Zouk such as head movements and body waves.
Dance club
All those who never want to stop learning in the right place in our ongoing dance club with thematically changing blocks.
What is Brazilian Zouk?
Brazilian Zouk is a young dance that is so multifaceted that it sometimes reminds one of Contemporary, sometimes of its playful Brazilian roots, and sometimes of the quiet connectedness in Tango.

Where we dance
Our classes and parties take place at Studio Elementio, the former Salsa Sandana.
A large room with a modern flair, a dance floor, a good music system and a beautiful ambience. Everything our dancers’ hearts desire.
And when we’re not in the studio, we dance by the Elbe with the sun on our faces and a view over
beautiful Dresden.
